Squarespace just announced a handful of new features, including a form lightbox, RSS block, and account switcher.
Form Lightbox Builder: As somebody very interested in marketing and user experience, I am really excited about this feature. Now, you can have your contact form open up in a lightbox instead of sending somebody to a different page or embedding it in your page. Just a call-to-action to button to capture your visitor's information. Here is how you use this feature: settings menu of Form Block > Advanced > Enable Lightbox Mode
RSS Block: I know a lot of talk has been circling around Google Reader and RSS in general, but Squarespace is simplifying it for your visitors to add your feed to their RSS newsreader. This helps create a subscription button, which you can add anywhere, and helps your visitors keep up with your latest news.
Account Switcher : If you manage or contribute to more than one Squarespace website, the navigation options between these has been improved. As Squarepsace developers who run multiple sites of our own, this is a huge win for us and I'm sure many of you. Just click on the Squarespace logo in the bottom left corner, which can be seen in your Website Manager to move from site to site. You can also create a new site from that menu or remove inactive sites.
Which of these is your favorite new Squarespace feature? What features would you like to see them build?
